There
are some companies promoting the distributorships of prepaid
telephone cards and they promise you to assist in the location
of the sales machines in really hot locations... REMEMBER...
that you are the only one responsible for locating the machines
and any help you get will be a freebie from the company. Most
of these companies are set up with a computer that tells them
where the locations are and they probably have never been there
themselves.
It's
up to you, pal.
Remember
what Harry Truman says: "The buck stops Here".
Another
concern is the price of the phone card... This is a very competitive
business... and what is a good deal in phone service today may
not be a good price tomorrow.
There
are a lot of complaints on the internet about these types of
businesses, so take heed.
Don't
just plunk down your money and expect to have your hand held
by the company... That's not the way it works. There are many
complaints about the length of time for the delivery of the machines.
Some
of these things cost about $5,000. Remember...
It's
your money. Buyer Beware !!!
This
business is closely related to the vending machine business.
You will find that a hot retail location that will allow you
to put your machine there will want a percentage of what you
make. Call it a kickback if you want... but it's a fact of life...
